Geocode a place so that you won’t have to lookup x,y coordinatesrn3. Optionally send post information to PostMapper.com to be plotted with other locational blog posts, sending traffic back to your blogrnrnMapping a post is as simple as typing a place name, hitting enter, and placing the [map-this] quicktag in your post. Once published, the map will appear where ever you placed the [map-this] quicktag.rnrnGeocoding can be done by entering a place name, country, city/state combination, or zip code. A draggable marker then appears, so fine tuning the location is a snap even if your location doesn’t have a mail box number.rnrnPostMapper.com plots locational blog posts from across the web on what we call “The Big Post Map.” The Post Map is searchable for visitors by location, and will display the latest blog posts from the searched location & surrounding area. The post’s location will be marked, with an info window including the post’s title, link, blog name, and post excerpt. PostMapper.com visitors can then click the link to read the full post on your blog. Using the PostMapper API is optional, simply don’t enter a Blog ID in the options menu.
